High Flow Oxygen Therapy

Veoflo®

Veoflo® High Flow Nasal Cannula is the comfortable choice for effective High Flow Oxygen Therapy (HFOT).

Veoflo® High Flow Nasal Cannula delivers warmed and humidified gas, providing versatility to meet the patient’s changing condition.

For patients with mild to moderate respiratory distress syndrome, HFOT can improve oxygenation and decrease the work of breathing without the need for non-invasive ventilation or intubation in selected patient populations.1,2

Soft Contoured Nasal Prongs
Comfortable and well tolerated silicone prongs aid patient compliance.

Quick and Secure Setup
Wings on the swivel connector for easy connection and disconnection.

Split Headstrap

High Flow Nasal Cannula

High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) offer many advantages when used in conjunction with humidification, including accurate delivery of high FiO2 and optimised mucociliary clearance, while increasing alveoli recruitment in a technique that offers improved patient comfort and compliance.

Studies have shown that High Flow Nasal Therapy is able to deliver a modest amount of positive airway pressure and may provide a bridge from NIV to conventional O2 delivery devices1.

Soft Touch Tubing
Gentle on the ears and face, minimising friction and pressure on delicate tissues.

Adjustable Slider
Secure and comfortable fitting without the need for a head or neck strap.

Sizing Guide
Use the guide to select the appropriate cannula size, ensuring best fit and minimising potential waste.

Secured Oxygen Delivery
Star lumen tubing ensures the flow of oxygen is maintained even if the tube becomes kinked.

Compatibility
Adaptor provides a secure connection to both 22mm and 15mm respiratory limbs.

All Patient Groups
Individual colour-coded range of cannula sizes provides an excellent match to needs from premature babies through to adults.

NioFlo™

NioFlo™ nasal cannulas offer many advantages when used in conjunction with humidification, including accurate delivery of high and low flow oxygen and optimised mucociliary clearance, while increasing alveoli recruitment with a premium cannula that offers improved patient comfort and compliance.

NioFlo’s flexible design allows the care provider to avoid the over the ear style of cannulas that lead to tissue breakdown. Ears are the most common site for Medical Device Related Hospital Acquired Pressure Ulcers (MDR HAPU), with 35% of affected patients suffering tissue breakdown in this sensitive area.1

Neonatal through Pediatric
The colour coded range of seven cannula sizes provides an excellent match to the individual needs of the smallest patients, from preterm and term neonates, infants, and paediatric patients.

Soft Touch Construction
Soft, premium and satin finished materials with rounded edges that are gentle on the face; minimising friction and pressure on delicate tissues.

Unique Swivel Design
Additional flexibility with swivel design connector to reduce torque on cannula.

Adjustable Slider
Secure and comfortable fitting without the need for a head or neck strap.

Compatibility
Included adapter provides a secure connection to both 15mm and standard O2 tubing.

Secured Oxygen Delivery
Star lumen tubing ensures flow of oxygen is maintained even if the tube becomes kinked.

Ventimask®

Ventimask® is an alternative for patients who are unsuitable for a High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), such as those with blocked nasal passages or following trauma/surgery to the nasopharanyx.

Attaching Ventimask® to a humidified Single Limb Heated Wire Breathing System, and either an oxygen blender or Flexicare’s Humidity Adaptor and Venturi barrel, humidified HFOT using a face mask can easily be set up to meet the patient’s needs.

Pressure Relief Valves

Limits back pressure to either 40 or 60cm H2O.

Humidity Adaptor

When connected to a humidified Single Limb Heated Wire Breathing System, humidified air is entrained by the Venturi barrel. Use of a humidity adaptor is the most accurate method of giving fixed concentration humidified oxygen to the patient.
